        Bateaux London welcomes people with disabilities on board all cruises. We request that anyone wishing to make an enquiry or booking inform us of special requirements or disabilities at the time of booking in order for us to meet any personal requirements.

         

        Step-free access is offered from Embankment Pier onto all our vessels. Guests with mobility issues may be accommodated at easily accessible tables and additional space may be providing for seeing-eye and hearing guide dogs.

         

        Both Glass Room and River Room vessels have a ground level, wheelchair accessible toilet on board.

         

        All boats also offer accessible outside decks.

        Unfortunately we are unable to call the boat back once it has departed, however we may be able to offer an alternative date at our discretion. No refunds are available.

        We are obliged to adhere to the specific pier slot booked for embarking and disembarking. To maintain the timings of the cruise and ensure guests who have boarded on time enjoy the full cruising time, we cannot wait for latecomers.

        We recommend that you arrive at Bateaux London reception to collect your boarding pass at the times included in your schedule for your selected cruise.

        Please bring your confirmation ticket email. We will have your party listed under the lead booking name.

         

        Please note that we cannot predict when guests will arrive at the pier, so you may be expected to queue for a time.

         

        Once you have checked-in guests are invited to relax in our dedicated reception area, complete with seating and cloakroom facilities.

        1-8 guests

         

        For reservations of eight people or less, Bateaux London requires at least 48 hours notice in order to offer a full refund. Cancellations received less than 48 hours prior to the date of the cruise will incur 100% cancellation fee. No refund will be offered for cancellations which fall outside the stipulated notice period.

         

        8-20 guests

         

        For bookings of more than eight people, eight (8) days notice is required for cancellations. Cancellations received less than eight days prior to the date of the cruise will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

         

        21+ guests

         

        Cancellation policy outlined in your contract applies. Please phone the Reservations team on +44 (0) 20 7695 1800 to make any cancellations.

        Set menus are provided on Lunch, Sunday Lunch and Afternoon Tea Cruises. An à la carte menu is available on Dinner Cruises.

         

        Groups of 21 or more guests on the Dinner Cruise are required to have a set menu (i.e. one starter, one main course, one dessert for each person in the entire group). This menu must be given to Bateaux London at least eight working days prior to the date of the cruise. If not advised, Bateaux London reserves the right to set this menu without consultation.

         

        Groups of between 21 and 30 guests may pay a supplement of £5.00 per person for the à la carte menu during their dinner cruise, rather than the group set menu.

         

        All groups of 31 or more must have a set menu.

        All our vessels can cater for large groups. For groups of more than 20 people, please phone our Group Sales and Events Team on +44 (0)20 7695 1809.

        Yes, Bateaux London can supply a VAT receipt or a VAT invoice.

        Our vessels are equipped with a full complement of buoyancy equipment for all passengers and are in constant contact with the port authority. In the unlikely event of an emergency a member of the crew will give you further instructions.

        Our cruises operate regardless of the weather unless in conditions of poor visibility. The captain will make the decision on the day if the cruise will not operate. You will be informed of your options on the day if this affects you. Our vessels are closed in so you will not be affected by wind, snow or rain.

        In the event of an emergency we will contact the emergency services to meet us at the nearest pier.

        Photos may be taken for personal use only, not for commercial purposes. Bateaux London does not permit video footage being taken on board.

        Smoking is permitted on designated outside decks only.

        During our Lunch Cruises we feature a professional, recorded commentary with musical enhancement.

         

        Sunday Lunch Jazz Cruises feature Jazz renditions from the Great American Song Book.

         

        Dinner Cruises includes a large repertoire of music from various genres.

         

        Afternoon Tea cruises include a professional pianist playing a variety of classics on a baby Grand Piano.

        Routes on Bateaux London cruises are dependent upon tides and the duration of your selected cruise. All cruises take in the major sights including Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, London Eye, St Paul’s Cathedral, Tate Modern, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, HMS Belfast, Tower of London and Tower Bridge.

        A Lunch cruises last approximately one and half hours.

         

        Afternoon Tea cruises last approximately one and one quarter hours.

         

        Sunday Lunch Jazz cruises last approximately two and a half hours.

         

        Dinner cruises last approximately two and three quarter hours.

        Experience vouchers are fully refundable within 60 days of receipt. Please note that we can only refund the card of the original purchaser of the gift and we cannot refund an order past this 60 day period.

        Exchanging your voucher for another cruise experience is possible by contacting the reservations team on 020 7695 1800.

        All vouchers carry a validity of 12 months; however it may be possible for to extend the validity of your gift voucher, although this cannot guarantee this.  Please contact our reservations team on 020 7695 1800 to request an extension.

        You can redeem your voucher online at www.bateaux-london.com/gift-vouchers/redeem or by calling our reservations team on 020 7695 1800. Please have your voucher with you as you will need the booking reference to redeem your voucher.

        Yes.  Please contact us directly quoting your gift voucher reference number and we will make the necessary amendments and re-issue the gift voucher.  The original gift voucher should then be destroyed as it will no longer be valid. If you are unhappy with any aspect of the presentation of your gift voucher please contact us immediately so that we rectify the situation.

         

        I have received a gift voucher but I don't know who it's from. Can you tell me who bought it for me?

        Yes.  Occasionally the person buying the gift voucher may ask for the gift vouchers to be sent to the recipient directly but forget to add who the gift is from. We have all of the buyers details stored on our system so we can easily retrieve your order and tell you who purchased the gift voucher.

        There could be several reasons why this may be happening.  Despite there being sufficient funds in an account banks occasionally decline payments due to it being unusual buying behaviour. This can be easily rectified by contacting the bank and advising them that you are trying to make an online purchase.

        You can select different delivery addresses, recipients and personal messages for each of the vouchers in your order.  Please follow the on-screen instructions.

        Simply 'Add to Order' as many gift vouchers as you like by using the 'Continue browsing' button. You can also remove items from your order by using the 'Delete' button. If you would like to purchase more than one of the same type of gift voucher simply click on the 'Duplicate' button when in your basket

        You can cancel your order at any point by selecting the 'Cancel Order' button however if you have completed the transaction and realise that you've made a mistake or purchased a gift voucher(s) that you no longer want SK Chase will be happy to refund your card (provided the transaction has taken place within the last 7 days and subject to the individual hotel's terms and conditions) and cancel the gift voucher order. Please contact us to arrange this.

        When you place an order for a gift experience voucher it will be sent out in plain packaging by your chosen delivery method. Inside is a voucher pack containing the following;

         

        An individually produced and personalised voucher with details of the experience and all the information necessary to make your booking

         A presentation pack for the voucher

        Which delivery option should I choose?

        For orders placed on a working day (Monday - Friday, excluding bank holidays) before 12 noon, the order will be despatched the same day.

        For orders placed on a working day after 12 noon, the order will be dispatched the next working day.

         

        We use Royal Mail to deliver your order.

        Please note that Postage and Packaging is not included in the gift voucher prices; supplements apply for 1st class, special and overseas deliveries (outside the United Kingdom).

         

        The following mailing options are available to customers ordering from the UK:

         

        UK 1st class delivery - standard Royal Mail UK 1st class delivery service.

        Please then allow 2 working days for the voucher to be delivered by Royal Mail.

        UK Special delivery - standard Royal Mail UK Special delivery.

         

        This will be tracked by Royal Mail and requires a signature from the recipient.

        Special Delivery guarantees receipt of the vouchers by 1pm on the next working day (not weekends).

        Please make sure that you (or the Recipient) are available to sign for the delivery otherwise it will be returned to the sorting office for collection. Please note that if you place an order on a Friday before 12 noon, Royal Mail will not guarantee delivery on Saturday but will guarantee delivery by Monday.

         

        Important:

         

        Please allow seven days for delivery during peak postal time.

         

        There is no dispatch or delivery on UK bank holidays and weekend.

         

        Please note that delivery is by Royal Mail therefore we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the postal system.

         

        Airmail - standard Royal Mail Airmail delivery. This should be selected for any overseas gift voucher orders.

         

        International Signed For - standard Royal Mail Recorded Overseas delivery. As with UK Special delivery the delivery is recorded and a signature is required upon delivery.

         

        If you use International Signed For with Airmail delivery Royal Mail has a target time of within three working days to Western Europe, four working days to Eastern Europe and five working days for the rest of the world. By Surface mail, it may take up to two weeks for Western Europe, four weeks for Eastern Europe, and up to eight weeks elsewhere.

        If your item is not delivered, please allow up to 25 days after posting before you consider it lost.  This is because your item may have been held in customs or be in the process of being returned to sender if it could not be delivered for some reason.

         

        An Post is used for customers ordering from Ireland: Standard Post, Express Post (Ireland) and Standard Post (International) to UK are available.

        Email - An automatic email with a gift voucher link will be sent as soon as the transaction is completed. This can be sent to either the purchaser or the recipient.

         

        N.B. This is a system generated email and therefore may go to the email recipient's junk or spam email folder. Please also take care when entering email address that it is correct. If an email delivery fails we will attempt to contact you to advise that the email has been returned to us 'undelivered' and will try to get another email address.         Bateaux London cruise is a special experience and a great opportunity to create some wonderful memories with your friends and family.

        A smart casual dress code is the norm, however, please feel free to dress for your occasion whether you are celebrating or just heading out for a fabulous meal on the Thames.

        We would advise against flip-flops, leisurewear and ripped jeans.

        Children under the age of 12 are not permitted on dinner cruises.

         

        Children’s prices are available for those aged between 3 to 12 years and are available for Lunch, Sunday Lunch Jazz and Afternoon Tea Cruises only.

         

        Prams, bassinets and push chairs are not permitted on our vessels and high chairs are not available.
